Francesco, our barrel-aged Sangiovese, belongs to both.

This wine carries the name of the founder of Tenuta Coromano, a man whose love for the land, family and hospitality continues to inspire everything we do today.

For us, Francesco is not simply a wine.

Anyone who visited his home heard the same invitation sooner or later:

"Come on, have a little glass of wine."

In Italian he would say:

"Dai, vieni a prendere un bicchierozzo di vino."

After fermentation, the wine spends time ageing in wood, allowing it to develop greater complexity and depth while preserving the identity of the grape.

The result is a wine that remains deeply connected to Romagna while expressing elegance, balance and character.

From Our Vineyards to Your Table

Like all our wines, Francesco begins in our vineyards in the hills of Bertinoro.

The grapes are harvested by hand and brought immediately to our winery, where they are carefully processed and followed throughout every stage of production.

As a small family winery, we remain personally involved in each step, from vineyard management to bottling.

For us, quality is not only about technique.

It is also about respect for the people and stories that came before us.
